Dark lip neutralization.
For clients with naturally dark, smoker-tinted, or unevenly pigmented lips, neutralization is the essential first chapter of a lip blush tattoo. Using carefully chosen color-correcting pigments, we soften melanin shadows across 1–2 sessions — clearing the canvas before any true color is introduced.
One of the most technically demanding Korean PMU techniques, and the work our studio is best known for. By 6–8 weeks, lips return to a clean, balanced canvas — ready to receive luminous color in their truest, naturally enhanced hue.

Consultation & Color Analysis
We read your lip tone, skin undertone, and how pigment will mature over a year. Reference shades are tested directly on your skin.

Your shade is custom-mixed from a palette of professional pigments. Lip shape is mapped to natural lip line and facial proportion.

PMU Procedure
Topical numbing applied. Pigment is layered slowly in light, controlled passes — building luminous, glowy depth.

Aftercare & Follow-up

What lips look like over 30 days.
Lip healing is the most dramatic of the PMU services. Color shifts dramatically, but the journey is exactly how the final tone is built.
Day1
Saturated start
Color appears very bold and saturated. Mild swelling, settling within hours. Apply provided balm only.
Day 2–5
The peel phase
Lips feel dry and may peel in soft flakes. Do not pick. Keep them coated in healing balm at all times.
Day 6–10
The fade illusion
Color appears to "disappear" by 60–80%. This is normal and the deeper pigment is still settling beneath.
Day 14–28
True tone surfaces
Soft, natural color emerges from beneath. Lips look refreshed, brighter, like a balm worn daily.
Week 6–8
Touch-up session
Final shade and density are perfected. Your luminous, naturally glowing lip finish is locked in.

Yes — but it requires preparation. For naturally pigmented or uneven lips, we begin with our dark lip neutralization technique across 1–2 sessions before introducing your chosen color. This is one of the most refined lip tattoo techniques in our studio and the reason many international clients travel to Seoul specifically for lip work.
Only if that's what you want. Most clients choose a shade within one or two tones of their natural lip color — the “my lips but better” K-beauty finish — so the result reads as a brighter, healthier, naturally glowing version of their own lips. Bolder shades are absolutely possible, and we'll always test the tone on you before any pigment is applied.
Lip blushing typically lasts 2–3 years, and permanent lip makeup lasts about 3 years. Longevity depends on lifestyle — sun exposure, skincare actives near the lips, frequent exfoliation, and water-based activities can all soften color faster. A color refresh every 18–24 months keeps the result at its best.
Soft, mild foods are recommended for the first 5–7 days. Avoid spicy, acidic, and very hot foods, and rinse the mouth gently after eating. Drinking through a straw helps during the peeling phase. Full normal eating typically resumes within a week.
Yes. We work exclusively with professional-grade, pre-tested PMU pigments and follow strict single-use, sterile-needle protocols. Clients with a history of cold sores are advised to take preventative antiviral medication beforehand — your consultation will cover all health and safety questions in detail.
